World missions isn’t getting any less expensive. Each year Southern Baptist churches give an annual offering that directly supports world missions and missionaries throughout the world. It is named after a missionary that literally gave her life for the people of China. She died on December 24, 1912 of starvation due to illness and famine. Her name was Lottie Digges Moon Pray for and give to the Kingdom work around the world. Here is a link to a brief account of the life of Lottie Moon. http://www.imb.org/main/lottie-moon/details.asp?StoryID=13795#.Vs3KV0VOLCQ
Our Uganda mission team just touched down in New Orleans.
We just landed in NYC and have a few hours until we head home. Thanks for praying.
Our team finished up two days of medical camp on Tuesday. It was a blessing to see all of our volunteers engaging with people to meet their spritual needs. We saw over 900 patients. The final numbers are not in but after the first day there were over 60 people who came to know the Lord for the first time.
Please pray as we begin our ten hour drive to Kampala today. Right now it is 5:29am on Wednesday morning in Uganda (Tuesday at 8:29pm at home). We will leave in about an hour on the long journey.
We are tired but good. God has been great. Love from Uganda.
